Project creation

Create a new project​

You can create a new project by clicking the New Project button on the projects page.

  1. Enter the project title
  2. Select a project type. The project type will determine what options are available within the project, what the user interface will look like, and will help the AI Assistant with provide relevant advice and suggestions. Note - the project type cannot be changed after the project is created.

Import project from docx​

This option imports your writing from a Word file to a Shy Editor project. Depending on the project type you selected on the previous steps, the text will either be imported into a single sheet, or automatically spread out across multiple sheets based on the formatting of the document.
