The AI Feedback option uses AI to give you a comprehensive review of your writing and provide actionable feedback. You can access it under "Specialized assistance" in the AI Assistant area.

The AI will highlight the strengths and weaknesses of your work, analyze clarity, coherence, engagement, writing style, and consistency. It will then provide tips to help you improve.

While the assistant is tuned to be as objective as possible, treat the feedback as helpful advice rather than a final verdict. Writing is deeply personal, and not every suggestion will align with your voice or goals.

Peer review

Peer review is a special feedback mode that is available in academic writing projects. It simulates the kind of critique you might receive from a fellow researcher, classmate, or academic mentor. This mode focuses on argument structure, evidence quality, clarity of claims, and adherence to academic conventions.

The AI will assess how well your paper presents and supports its thesis, whether your sources are appropriately integrated, and how clearly your ideas are communicated. It may also flag logical fallacies, ambiguous phrasing, or areas that would benefit from further development.

Use peer review when you want a more rigorous, scholarly critique—especially useful before submitting papers, essays, or journal articles.
